The goal of our lab is to decipher the molecular details of protein folding, dynamics and interactions with other biomolecules such as

protein/peptide/nucleic acids that have long term implications for combating medical conditions such as Creuzfeld-Jacob (Mad Cow disease), Alzheimer’s, and cancer. 

We primarily adopt statistical mechanical approach and use different molecular simulation techniques by developing research specific computational models of various levels of complexity.

Motivated students who are fascinated by biomolecular complexity can apply by sending mails to me. Strong background in computational biology/ physical chemistry/ biophysics/ physics/ Computer Science is desired, however, the eagerness for Science is is absolutely essential.
