I received my M.S. and PhD degrees in Computer Science in 2005 and 2008 respectively from the Lane Department of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering at West Virginia University.
I have over 80 research publications in refereed journals, book chapters, and conferences and I am the recipient of four best paper awards, one best reviewed paper award, and one best poster award. I am a member of the IEEE, Computer Society, ACM, Golden Key International, Phi Kappa Phi, Tau Beta Pi, Upsilon Pi Epsilon, and Eta Kappa Nu honor societies.
I am also a member of the UIDAI subcommittee of face image standards, Indian Biometrics Standards Committee, and the United States ANSI/NIST Committee to Define an Extended Fingerprint Feature Set. My current areas of interest are biometrics, pattern recognition, machine learning, and granular computing. |
