I am working as Assistant Professor at Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi (IIIT-D).
I earned my Ph.D in Computer Science from the Jadavpur University , Kolkata, India in 2009.
I recieved Young Scientist Award from Indian Sceinec congress in January 2010.
I have worked in KPMG from 2006 to 2010.
Currently I am a member of the Security and Privacy group @ IIIT-Delhi.
My research primarily focuses on Digital Forensics. In particular, I explore problems related to device fingerprinting. I am also interested in solving problems related to Computer Frauds and Cyber Crime.
Digital Forensic Group is looking for strong students with an interest in security and privacy and digital forensics. Students must have a strong technical background, be comfortable with systems work and be prepared to work hard. Paper titled "Detecting Counterfeit Currency and Identifying its Source" got selected in Ninth Annual IFIP WG 11.9 International Conference on Digital Forensics (Held in University of Central Florida, Orlando, Florida, USA from January 28-30, 2013 ).
I and Dr.Vikram (colleague at IIIT-D) got 3 year DIT research grant on “Design and Development of System for Detecting Digitized Document Frauds”.
